The first project we started was the relocation of the laundry room and a craft room!!! I am currently doing laundry in the "cellar" which i think has a ceiling height of 4ft something! There were 2 closets in the "nice" basement. We ripped those out and extended into the family room. Its going to be soooo nice. But it takes so darn long. It would kill me to build a house
There was so much mold inside these walls. Ick! I will post a pic of the cellar laundry and we should be finished with this soon. Those blessed stairs to your right, what a nightmare. I couldn't get any furniture down them. we had to watch tv on camping chairs until a few weeks ago when I finally found a sofa that would fit!

Hello World!
it is hard to believe it took this long to start a blog!! I had an idea and then someone else (hubby!!)had another idea... well neither idea worked out so here we are with the final product. i am soooo excited and hope you enjoy and are inspired or at least laugh as i share our journey with you.
without further adieus an introduction to the farm! I have 4 little chicks and one giant rooster! We just purchased a hobby farm in southern minnesota. the pictures are not in birth order oops! I should have thought about that. always room for improvement right?
chick #4
feisty babe of the family is she. she is sooo adorable that she gets away with far more than she should. she learned to read this year and how to add. she loves to draw and sing sing sing. i seriously call her "canary".
chick #3
sweet and mild mannered is she! 3rd grade. She is the 1st one i have taught all the way (not been in public school) she is a worker and determined. she is usually the 1st one to want to help and stays till the very end.
chick#2
we call her dq (drama queen)!! extremely social and loves little ones. she will always gravitate to the kiddos that are still in diapers and take care of them. she is the one that is really like me. all good of course 8-)!! she is in 5th grade but she could take it or leave it with regards to school. soooo very creative!
I am embarrassed because all the pictures i have are from last summer. everyone looks so warm and tan. bring it on-i am sick of winter....
